For the first time ever
since its beginning, “Le Tour” is celebrating its 100th anniversary
with a start on the island of Corsica.
Have been following le grand
boucle since my childhood, almost for eight decades. We won’t have a
day-by-day post on this amazing, 23-day cycling event, there are lots of sites
on the Net including the official site.
Have never been to Corsica
with all our global travels, so we’re enjoying the panorama views of vineyards, villages, and yes - mountains. Today the riders cross from Bastia to Ajaccio,
at times at passes over 1,500m.
